Living out the Gospel in word and deed.
"To know Christ and to make Him known, through worship, fellowship, and service to our neighbours."
We strive to be a beacon of God's love in our rural communities. We believe that the church is not just a building, but a living body of believers sent out into the world to serve. Following the example of Jesus Christ, we seek to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength, and to love our neighbours as ourselves.
Our mission is rooted in the Anglican tradition and expressed through the Five Marks of Mission, which guide our work in the community and beyond.
The Anglican Communion's framework for mission and ministry
To proclaim the Good News of the Kingdom of God through worship, preaching, and sharing our faith.
To teach, baptize, and nurture new believers in the Christian faith through education and discipleship.
To respond to human need by loving service, supporting the vulnerable, and caring for those in crisis.
To seek to transform unjust structures of society, to challenge violence, and to pursue peace and reconciliation.
To strive to safeguard the integrity of creation and sustain and renew the life of the earth.
Rooted in scripture and the Anglican tradition, we seek to grow closer to God daily through prayer, study, and worship.
We believe in the power of gathering together, supporting one another through life's joys and challenges in Christian fellowship.
Faith without works is dead. We are committed to serving the needs of the wider community through practical action and compassion.
Our faith calls us to action in our local communities
Visiting the sick, shut-ins, and elderly members of our community, providing spiritual support and companionship.
Supporting local food banks and organizing special collections to help families in need within our communities.
Nurturing the faith of young people through Sunday School, youth groups, and special events designed for children and teens.
Hosting seasonal gatherings, harvest festivals, and community dinners that bring people together in fellowship and celebration.
